This is a really out there 42% ABV London dry gin. It starts its life off as Sloe berries steeped for a minimum of 6 months in a high ABV Original Gin. It is then decanted back into the still and laced with Liquorice Root and left for 24 hours to macerate before being redistilled. It is not a strong Juniper led gin as it is distilled twice and has similarities to grappa. The flavours come in layers with this gin and has a very almost floral ending. The Liquorice is used as a sweetener more than a flavour as Liquorice is 50 times stronger on the tongue than sugar.
As ever, all our Whittaker's gin bottles come in a lovely branded bag
